THE GHOST AND MRS MUIR

Starring

GENE TIERNEY, REX HARRISON, GEORGE SANDERS

Based on R.A. Dick's novel, this film is a romantic fantasy about a widow who moves into a reportedly haunted cottage on the English seaside.   When the home turns out to be haunted by the ghost of a bitter sea captain—played by Rex Harrison—she decides to befriend rather than fear the spirit.

The true story of Henry Hill , a half-Irish, half-Sicilian Brooklyn kid who is adopted by neighborhood gangsters at an early age and climbs the ranks of a Mafia family.

Based on the true-life bestseller, Wiseguy, and backed by a dynamic pop/rock oldies soundtrack, GoodFellas was a hit

with both critics and movie-goers alike, and received six Academy Award nominations, including "Best Picture"

and  "Best Director" (and a win for Joe Pesci's astounding performance).  You have to see it to believe it—then watch
